PIBI Gallery

Ae Goh (b. 1979) studied ceramics at Hanyang Women’s University. She moved to Japan in 2005 following graduation, self-educating herself in oil painting while working at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Sendai. Goh has had six shows in Japan since 2008: two duo exhibitions at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Sendai and four solo exhibitions. She held her first solo exhibition in Korea in 2016 at Gallery Royal, through which her work was properly introduced to fans at home, and later garnered much attention through solo shows at Gallery Clip (2020, 2021, and 2022) and Gallery Royal (2022). Goh’s works are part of the Gallery Royal and Gallery Tougendo, Sendai, Japan collection. 

고경애(b.1979)는 한양여자대학교에서 도자기공예를 전공하였다. 졸업 후, 2005년 일본으로 건너가 주센다이 대한민국 총영사관의 직원으로 근무하며 독학으로 유화 공부를 시작했다. 일본에서는 2008년부터 네 번의 개인전, 주센다이 대한민국 총영사관에서 두 번의 이인전을 가졌으며, 2016년 갤러리로얄에서 한국에서의 첫 개인전을 통해 작가의 작품 세계를 국내에 본격적으로 알리는 계기가 되었다. 이후 갤러리 클립(2020, 2021 ,2022), 갤러리로얄(2022)에서 개인전을 가지며 많은 주목을 받았다. 고경애의 작품은 갤러리로얄(서울), 갤러리 토겐도(일본, 센다이)에 소장되어 있다.
