Biography
Futuredays, featuring artists Shin Joonsik and Kim Inhyun, is a fusion art group that transcends the boundaries of art and technology through digital convergence. Since pioneering VR painting in 2015, they have curated various art exhibitions, collaborating with artists and technology experts from diverse genres such as painting, music, dance, and IT to present digital convergence art. By creating works where virtual reality and the real world coexist, they not only expand the boundaries of artistic expression and imagination but also provide audiences with unique experiences where they can interact with and become part of the artwork. Through this, the artistic reality of the metaverse is embodied, and the innovative possibilities for future art are explored. In the era of 'Hyper,' characterized by hyper-reality, hyper-intellect, and hyper-connection of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Futuredays continually crafts unique experiences through the combination of art, science, and technology.
In 2018, Futuredays was selected as an archive artist for Microsoft Corporation's Mixed Reality Captured Studio for the first time in Asia, and in 2019, they attracted attention from the cultural arts and IT industries with the world's first XR art exhibition. Futuredays is leading spatial computing digital convergence and hyper-experience art by using art converged with virtual reality implementation technologies such as VR, AR, and MR, artificial intelligence-based hyper-realism, real-time, intuitive interaction, and spatial interaction technology as a new medium.
